Summer Solstice Race

How about an evening race for a change of pace? The Summer Solstice Race takes place at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in City Park in Denver, and is followed by live music, refreshments, and free skin screenings. In addition to the fun evening had by all, each volunteer will receive a volunteer T-shirt.

The Summer Solstice Race was founded to focus the public’s attention on the dangers of exposure to the sun in Colorado where the rate of melanoma is so much higher. The race donates to the Kristin Michelle O'Connor Foundation.
