Cherry Creek Sneak
Now in its 28th year, the Cherry Creek Sneak is considered the kickoff race of the season! With over 10,000 participants annually, the Cherry Creek Sneak could not exist without literally hundreds of volunteers. All our race day volunteers will receive a Cherry Creek Sneak Volunteer T-shirt. Pre-race day volunteers receive a complimentary race registration. This is a great way to give back to the community and have a great time in the process!
The Sneak is committed to the fight against childhood obesity. It partners with local non-profit organizations to encourage participation by more and more kids. We support Shape Up Across Colorado, a free program by the Governor's Council.
This position will be assisting with the set up and distribution of food and beverage in the post event food area.

Volunteers hand out the goody bags to participants as they are crossing the finish line.

This position will assist the event staff with the timing and scoring of the event. Each participant will receive an official time and place.

Volunteers will hand out water to participants as they cross the finish line.

This position is responsible for distributing water to race participants. They will be setting up tables and filling cups with water for participants.

Applicants are responsible for directing participants along the race course at key intersections. These volunteers may need to assist with the traffic control.

This position will assist the event staff with the set up and tear down of the starting line. It will also assist with the starting of each race. This will insure that the appropriate wave starts are adhered to by race participants. The position will also assist with the water station at the starting line.

Volunteers must fulfill the following requirements:
This position will oversee the registration process and distribution of T-shirts and bib numbers to those participants registering on the day of the event. They will also be assisting with T-shirt and bib number pickup for those registrants that have completed mail in or online registration.

This position will distribute fliers throughout the Cherry Creek community regarding the Cherry Creek Sneak. Volunteers will receive a complimentary registration for the Cherry Creek Sneak.

Volunteers will assist in stuffing the goody bags that will be handed out at the end of the finish line on race day. Volunteers will receive a complimentary race day registration as a thank you for their assistance.

Assist event staff with cleaning up the race course and finish area. This will include cleaning up debris on the course and in the post race area, taking down banners, packing materials etc.
