Donor Dash
The Donor Dash is a 5K run/walk for runners, walkers and the entire family to honor the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives of organ and tissue recipients, and recognize the lives of those waiting for a lifesaving transplant. As one of Denver's largest charitable events, none of it is possible without the assistance of our volunteers. Volunteers will receive a volunteer T-shirt. Pre-race volunteers will receive a complimentary race day registration.
Volunteers will assist with the set up of the Donate Life Gardens on race day, Sunday, July 18th, 2010.
Time: 6:00 am to 8:00 am on race day
Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and be willing to perform light physical tasks such as light lifting and carrying.
Assist with preparing this year's race goodie bags. Bags will include coupons, flyers and other small items.

This position will assist the event staff with the timing and scoring of the event. Each participant will receive an official time and place.

This position is responsible for distributing water to race participants. They will be setting up tables and filling cups with water for participants.

Applicants are responsible for directing participants along the race course at key intersections. These volunteers may need to assist with the traffic control.

This position will oversee the registration process and distribution of T-shirts and bib numbers to those participants registering on the day of the event. They will also be assisting with T-shirt and bib number pick-up for those registrants that have completed mail in or online registration.

Advocates to help put together Donor Dash material boxes for nearly 50 (or more) teams and sponsors on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, in Denver, Colorado. We need to prepare these boxes for pickup by team captains on July 9, 2010. Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.

*If you are unable to volunteer during any of the set shifts, but can come into the office to assist any time between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., please let me know
